December 2011 | Chris L. Hilt inducted into the National ASLA Council of Fellow’s
Chris Hilt, FASLA, LEED® AP has presided over countless clubs, boards, councils and commissions. She’s been a passionate advocate for sustainable policies in her community and the state. But, more than anything, she cares about making North Carolina’s school children healthier and happier. And for that, she was recognized as North Carolina’s 2011 Inductee into the National ASLA Council of Fellows during the ASLA 2011 Annual Meeting and Expo held in San Diego, CA on November 1, 2011.
Dec 2011 | CLH project awarded LEED Platinum
Wake Forest Town Hall was awarded Platinum Certification of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program of the U.S. Green Building Council. CLH Design provided both Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture for this project. Wake Forest Town Hall is one of only a few municipal facilities in the United States that have the Platinum Certification.

May 2011 | Chris Hilt to present at NC CEFPI Conference
Chris Hilt, FASLA, LEED® AP will present on “Healthy School Campuses” during the 17th Annual NC Chapter of Council of Education Facility Planners International (CEFPI) to be held May 2-3, 2011 in Greensboro. This years’ Conference is titled Growing Healthy in Greensboro.
April 2011 | Chris Hilt to participate on jury for design competition
Christine Hilt will participate on the Jury to judge the 11th Annual North Carolina Sustainable Building Design Competition (NCSBDC) on Saturday, April 16th as part of the Planet Earth Day Celebration at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh. March 2011 | CLH project awarded LEED Gold!
Raven Rock State Park Visitor’s Center was awarded Gold Certification of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program of the U.S. Green Building Council. CLH Design provided both Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture for this project.
